Take the Survey >

Given the demand for qualified talent in Utah’s technology sector, we wanted to get a gauge on the current climate and answer some key questions around compensation practices in Utah and our surrounding mountain states with smaller markets.

We want draw out insights from the responses such as:

  • Where does Utah rank among top-tier and secondary markets for digital marketing talent?
  • How significant is the gender pay gap here in Utah compared to the national average?
  • What can we do as a community to effect real change locally?
  • Are we doing enough to grow and support diversity in the industry?
  • What skillsets are most common among the current talent pool?
  • What types of benefits are being offered to supplement compensation?
  • Are employers offering realistic salary and compensation packages to new hires?
  • Are employers doing enough to retain top talent?

I will be discussing the initial findings of the survey in my opening address of SLCSEM’s annual DMC conference on September 14th.

A complete report of all findings will be produced and released following the survey’s official close date of October 1, 2017.
